Gil Rumsey's Gallery
Gil Rumsey displays his
original art at Gil Rumsey's Gallery in his home in Lenexa, Kansas. A showcase
of Gil's confident and eclectic style, the gallery is located near
the route of the historic Santa Fe Trail. Echoes of the Santa

The original Gil Rumsey's Gallery was a fixture in
Kansas City and a focal point for contemporary and antique art. Housed in the
historic Power and Light Building in downtown Overland Park, one of the oldest structures in the
city, Gil's gallery, antiques store, and framing shop burned to the ground
in 2006. When the community realized the enormity of the
loss (Gil's life's work of hundreds of original paintings, along
with thousands of art prints and copies of his book "Legacy of the Santa Fe Trail"),
they rallied around him in support.
The new Gil Rumsey's Gallery showcases hundreds of Gil's new paintings. Prints of his new work, and prints of his classic originals, are available for sale in the online galleries nelow.
